Parijaat Saree

Sale price ₹ 28,990

The Parijaat saree is handwoven in handspun cotton and naturally dyed by hand in a stunning parrot green. Drawing inspiration form the Parijaat flower native to Bengal, it features a traditional pattern of flowers thoughtfully arranged throughout. Crafted by skilled artisans, these floral jamdani motifs are accented by tiny tonal circles and fine stripes, all intricately handwoven in golden zari. The pallu is finished with zari stripes in varying widths and dainty tassels, which add to the saree's ethereal charm. The delicate forms perfectly complement the graceful drape fine cotton fabric, making this saree an excellent wardrobe staple – perfect for daily life as well as occasion-wear.

There may be slight variations in weave and colour from the images. These natural variations are intrinsic to handloom saree craftsmanship, making each piece unique and beautiful.

HANDMADE WITH LOVE

In a world that values the uniformity of machines, we see beauty in the uniqueness of handicraft. Every step in the creation of a Karomi piece - from dyeing the threads, to weaving the fabric, to adding finishing touches - is done by hand. This means that each piece may vary slightly in colour and design and is truly one of a kind.

ARTISTICALLY DESIGNED

We’re committed to delivering 100% authentic handwovens of the highest quality. To ensure this, all fabrics used at Karomi are fully conceptualized, designed, and woven by our team. Each piece is treated as wearable art, with even our base fabrics including a strategic interplay of warp and weft to add depth and dimension. This, coupled with our unique approach to jamdani that uses random, non-repetitive motifs rather than simple repeated patterns is what makes each piece distinctly Karomi.
