Taramani Saree

Sale price ₹ 24,990

The Taramani Saree is handwoven with fine handspun cotton yarns that are naturally-dyed by hand in shades of green and yellow. These yarns are interplayed with each other at the textile level to create a two-toned striation of taupe and olive throughout the saree. Inspired by the concept of a starry night, this saree features star-like jamdani motifs placed in different configurations to mimic the scattered placement of stars in the night sky. These jamdani motifs are created in delicate red and silver zari threads. The saree also uses stripes of silver zari throughout to create a slight sheen and the pallu showcases stripes of red and silver in varying thickness, for added visual depth. This cotton jamdani saree, with its thoughtful textile design, is sure to be a truly unique addition to your wardrobe.

There may be slight variations in weave and colour from the images. These natural variations are intrinsic to handloom saree craftsmanship, making each piece unique and beautiful.

ARTISTICALLY DESIGNED

We’re committed to delivering 100% authentic handwovens of the highest quality. To ensure this, all fabrics used at Karomi are fully conceptualized, designed, and woven by our team. Each piece is treated as wearable art, with even our base fabrics including a strategic interplay of warp and weft to add depth and dimension. This, coupled with our unique approach to jamdani that uses random, non-repetitive motifs rather than simple repeated patterns is what makes each piece distinctly Karomi.
